cdkbase License
Last updated: June 5, 2026
1. Who this is between
This License is an agreement between you (“you”) and Delivery Operator Technologies LLC, doing business as CDK Base (“we” or “us”), covering the cdkbase source code and related materials (the “Template”) sold at cdkbase.com. You accept this License when you purchase or use the Template.
2. What you can do
Your purchase gives you a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive license to use the Template’s source code to design, build, and run your own software:
- in as many projects as you like;
- for yourself or for paying clients; and
- in commercial products.
A single purchase covers one individual. If your whole team needs the source, a team license is available — reach out at support@cdkbase.com.
3. What you can’t do
You agree not to:
- republish, resell, or give away the Template — or a lightly modified copy of it — as a starter kit, boilerplate, or template;
- pass your repository access or the source code to anyone who hasn’t bought their own license (your team, under a team license, excepted);
- remove the copyright or attribution notices in the code; or
- use the Template to break the law or infringe anyone else’s rights.
Put simply: build whatever you want with cdkbase — just don’t sell or give away cdkbase itself.
4. Who owns what
You own the applications you build with the Template. We keep all rights to the Template itself — a license is permission to use it, not a transfer of ownership.
5. How you get it
After payment, we add the GitHub account you entered at checkout as a read-only collaborator on the private cdkbase repository. Please make sure the username is correct, and accept the invitation GitHub sends you.
6. Payments and refunds
Stripe processes payments in U.S. dollars. Because you receive the source immediately, purchases are generally final; if we do agree to a refund, we’ll remove your repository access. For refund questions, email support@cdkbase.com.
7. No warranty
cdkbase is provided “as is,” with no warranties of any kind — express or implied — including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. You’re responsible for how you deploy and secure what you build, and for any third-party costs, such as your AWS bill.
8. Limit of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we won’t be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from the Template. Our total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid for your license.
9. Other companies’ tools and names
cdkbase is built to run on third-party services — including AWS, GitHub, Stripe, and Anthropic’s Claude — each governed by its own terms. We aren’t affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any of them, and their names and logos belong to them.
10. The legal bits
This License is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, USA, and any dispute will be handled by the courts located there. It is the entire agreement between us about the Template and replaces anything discussed beforehand. We may update it from time to time; the version in effect when you purchase is the one that applies to that purchase.
