Privacy Policy
Last modified: June 5, 2026
Introduction
Delivery Operator Technologies LLC, doing business as CDK Base (“Company”, “we”, or “us”), operates cdkbase.com (the “Site”) and sells the cdkbase software template. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it through our compliance with this policy. This policy describes the types of information we collect when you visit the Site, purchase the cdkbase template, or use the live demo, and our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing that information.
This policy applies only to information we collect through the Site and in electronic communications sent through or in connection with it. It does not apply to information collected by any third party — such as Stripe, GitHub, or Google — whose services we use or that you may access through the Site. Those third parties have their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to read.
By using the Site, you agree to this policy. We may update it from time to time (see “Changes to This Policy”). Your continued use of the Site after we revise this policy means you accept those changes.
Children Under 16
The Site is not intended for children under 16 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you are under 16, do not use the Site or provide any information about yourself to us. If we learn we have collected personal information from a child under 16, we will delete it. If you believe a child under 16 may have provided us information, please contact support@cdkbase.com.
Information We Collect
We collect information:
- directly from you when you provide it to us;
- automatically as you navigate through the Site; and
- from the service providers we use to process payments and deliver access.
Information you provide to us
When you purchase the template, contact us, or use the demo, we may collect:
- your email address;
- the GitHub username you enter at checkout, so we can grant repository access;
- records of your correspondence if you contact us; and
- transaction details for purchases. Payment card information is collected and processed directly by Stripe; we do not receive or store your full card number.
If you create an account to use the live demo, we also collect your email address and the authentication tokens used to keep you signed in.
Information collected automatically
As you use the Site, we may automatically collect standard usage and device information — such as pages viewed, the referring site, IP address, browser and device type, and approximate (city- or region-level) location — through cookies and similar technologies.
Information from third parties
We may also receive information from the service providers we work with — for example, confirmation from Stripe that a payment succeeded, along with limited billing details such as the last four digits of your card and your billing country, and confirmation from GitHub that a repository invitation was sent or accepted.
Cookies and Analytics
We use a first-party session cookie only if you sign in to the live demo, and we use Google Analytics to understand how the Site is used. Google Analytics may set cookies and process usage data under its own privacy policy. You can refuse or delete cookies through your browser settings, though some parts of the Site may not function properly. We do not use advertising networks, serve interest-based ads, or track you across other websites for advertising.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- deliver your purchase by granting your GitHub account access to the private repository;
- process payments and issue receipts (via Stripe);
- provide support and respond to your requests;
- operate, secure, maintain, and improve the Site; and
- comply with our legal, accounting, and tax obligations.
How We Disclose Your Information
We may disclose:
- aggregated or de-identified information, which does not identify any individual, without restriction;
- personal information to the service providers that support our business — such as Stripe (payments), GitHub (repository access), and our hosting and analytics providers — solely so they can perform those services for us;
- information to a buyer or successor in the event of a merger, financing, reorganization, or sale of some or all of the Company’s assets;
- information to comply with a court order, law, or government or regulatory request, or to enforce our agreements; and
- information where we believe it is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of the Company, our customers, or others, including for fraud prevention.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising or marketing.
Your Choices
Cookies. You can set your browser to refuse some or all cookies, or to alert you when cookies are being set. If you disable cookies, some parts of the Site may not function properly.
Email. Transactional messages — such as receipts and the details you need to access your purchase — are part of the service and cannot be opted out of. If we ever send non-transactional email, you can unsubscribe using the link in the message or by emailing support@cdkbase.com.
Data Retention
We retain purchase records — such as your email, GitHub username, and transaction metadata — for as long as needed to provide and support your access, and to meet our accounting, tax, and other legal obligations (financial records are typically kept for several years). We delete or de-identify information when it is no longer needed for these purposes.
International Users
We are based in the United States and process information there. If you access the Site from outside the United States, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States.
Accessing or Deleting Your Information
We hold only a small amount of personal information about you — your email address, the GitHub username you provided, and your purchase records. If you’d like to review, correct, or delete it, email support@cdkbase.com and we’ll take care of it, except for records we’re required to keep for accounting and tax.
Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmitting or storing information is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security; any transmission of information is at your own risk. If you create a demo account, you are responsible for keeping your password confidential.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last modified” date at the top of this page reflects the latest version. If we make material changes, we will post the updated policy here. You are responsible for periodically reviewing this policy for changes.
